Terms & Conditions
Effective September 2, 2026
Using this site
By using Real Online Alarm, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, the only real remedy is not to use the site — there's no account to cancel or subscription to opt out of.
The service
Real Online Alarm is a free, browser-based alarm clock. It's provided as-is and free of charge, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Features, sounds, and presets may change over time without notice.
No warranty, use at your own risk
The alarm is built to be reliable — see About Us for how — but it depends on your browser tab staying open, your device staying on, and your volume being audible. Don't rely on it as the sole safeguard for anything critical (medication schedules, waking for a flight, or similar). The site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Your saved alarms
Alarms, sounds, and preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage — see thePrivacy Policy for detail. Clearing your browser's site data, using private/incognito mode, or switching devices or browsers will lose that data. We aren't able to recover it, because we never had a copy of it in the first place.
Acceptable use
Use the site for its intended purpose — setting alarms. Don't attempt to attack, overload, scrape at abusive volume, or otherwise interfere with the site's normal operation, and don't use it for any unlawful purpose.
Content and intellectual property
The site's design, text, and code are original to this project unless otherwise noted. You're welcome to link to any page on this site. Reproducing the site's design or written content elsewhere without permission isn't authorized.
Third-party links
Some pages link to third-party sites (for example, Cloudflare's own privacy policy). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time; the effective date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
