Built for heavy sleepers

A loud alarm clock isn't just about the sound file — it's about everything around it staying awake and visible long enough for the sound to matter. This is where the reliability engineering behind every alarm on this site pays off most directly.

Volume with real headroom

The volume slider isn't capped at a plain audio file's normal ceiling — it can amplify past that, so even a modest-sounding clip has room to actually be loud through your device's speaker.

A fullscreen takeover you can't sleep through unnoticed

When it rings, a fullscreen ringing screen fills the display with the alarm's label and the current time — nothing else is reachable until you press Snooze orStop. A Screen Wake Lock keeps the screen and tab from dimming out while an alarm is armed, so the display is lit and ready the moment it fires.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make the alarm as loud as possible?

Drag the volume slider to its maximum in the add-alarm form (or the ringing screen while it plays), and set your device's own media volume to maximum as well — the two multiply together.

Will the screen stay on so the alarm can actually ring?

A Screen Wake Lock is requested automatically while at least one alarm is enabled, on browsers that support it, to help prevent the screen from sleeping mid-countdown.
